About Us
CTG Accounting Services is a busy East London-based accountancy practice providing a full range of accounting, tax, and advisory services to a diverse client base of individuals and small-to-medium businesses. We’re looking for a qualified accountant to join our growing team.
The Role
You’ll manage a portfolio of clients, handling accounts preparation, corporation tax, self-assessment, VAT, and general advisory work, with direct client contact and support from the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and finalising statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
Preparing and submitting corporation tax and personal tax returns
VAT return preparation and review
Liaising directly with clients and HMRC on day-to-day queries
Reviewing work prepared by junior staff where required
Supporting ad hoc advisory and compliance projects
What We’re Looking For
ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified (or finalist level considered)
Proven UK practice experience across accounts, tax, and VAT
Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
Ability to manage a varied caseload and work to deadlines
